Things are hotting up with AuthorHouse, the publisher. The final layouts and covers have all been agreed, and in the next few days Quality Control will send it to the printers – at long last. Hopefully the book will be available in about 3 weeks, but we will wait and see!!

Leicestershire's forgotten naval hero - Frank Abney Hastings... Maurice Abney Hastings at the exhibition about his adventurer forefather Frank Abney Hastings, at Ashby Museum, North Street, Ashby. He was from landlocked Ashby (born at Willesley Hall) fought at Trafalgar, he was described as having the potential to be the next Nelson during his lifetime but ended up being court marshalled, partly due to his short fuse and habit of duelling.
